The Great Pumpkin Parade
San Francisco Giants All-Time Great Matt Williams Named Parade Grand Marshal
For decades, the Great Pumpkin Parade has been a festival favorite among attendees at the Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival, celebrating the vibrant community spirit and the bountiful fall harvest. Held on historic Main Street in Half Moon Bay, California, this parade is a delightful spectacle featuring a colorful array of floats, marching bands, vintage cars, and hordes of ghosts, ghouls and Disney princesses.
As part of the festival, the parade showcases the creativity and enthusiasm of local residents and visitors alike. You’ll see everything from intricately designed pumpkin-themed floats to lively performances by local dance troupes and musicians. The parade is a family-friendly event, with plenty of areas to come watch the action up close.
The parade takes place on Saturday, October 19th at noon and the parade route travels up historic Main Street from Miramontes Street to Mill Street. Be sure to get there early if you have kids or want to be up front as the sidewalks fill with people close to the parade start time. Please be conscientious of the surrounding attendees as everyone just wants to catch the fun too. Parents, for the safety of your family and parade participants, please keep an eye on your little tykes to keep them from running out once the parade has begun.
Come join the celebration and experience the magic of the Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival Great Pumpkin Parade!
