Photos with Grand Champion Gourd
Proceeds Benefit the Cabrillo Education Foundation
How often do you get to see and touch a hard-to-believe, larger-than-life 1-ton pumpkin (2,000 pounds!)—let alone get to have your photo taken alongside something so extraordinary?
At this year’s Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival, October 18-19, you can do both and be the proud owner of an unforgettable keepsake plus help out a great cause!
Your awesome one-of-a-kind photo will be snapped and instantly printed for a special take-home keepsake. The cost is $20 per 4x6 print, with discounts for multiple copies or poses. All proceeds benefit the Cabrillo Education Foundation (CEF), a non-profit for the sole benefit of the students attending our 7 local Coastside public schools.
This year's photo booth is made possible by the generous support of Mavericks Community Foundaton (MCF). The Mavericks Community Foundation is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the San Mateo County Coast by supporting local nonprofits and fostering community engagement. Since its founding in 2015, the Foundation has served as a catalyst for local giving, raising awareness and resources to improve the lives of residents from Montara to Pescadero.
One of its signature initiatives is Coastside Gives, an annual 24-hour online giving challenge that has raised millions for over 100 local nonprofits. The Foundation’s efforts support a wide range of causes, from arts and education to health and youth development, while fostering collaboration among organizations to better serve the community.
Through fundraising, partnerships, and capacity-building initiatives, the Mavericks Community Foundation continues to make a meaningful, lasting impact on the Coastside.
