FROM HALF MOON BAY TO THE BIG SCREEN AND BACK AGAIN
When Grow arrived in theaters last year, moviegoers across the country were treated to a special glimpse of Half Moon Bay's legendary Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh Off before the film began.
Now we're excited to bring Grow to Half Moon Bay and share it with the community that knows a thing or two about giant pumpkins.
It's a fitting way to kick off a new local tradition celebrating the people, pumpkins and community spirit that make this time of year on the Coastside so special.
ABOUT GROW
Set in the self proclaimed Pumpkin Capital of the World, Grow follows an unlikely young grower who discovers an extraordinary talent for growing giant pumpkins.
The family comedy takes audiences into the eccentric world of competitive pumpkin growing with enormous gourds, colorful characters and plenty of competition. At its heart, it's a story about family, community and finding where you belong.
MAKE A NIGHT OF IT
The fun begins at 6PM. Pick up dinner from one of Half Moon Bay's local restaurants, bring it to the park and enjoy a picnic with family and friends before the movie begins after sunset.
A NEW COASTSIDE TRADITION
Moonlight Movie Night is a new annual tradition created to give families, friends and neighbors another opportunity to spend an evening together and celebrate the community we call home.
Each year will bring another family-friendly movie to the big screen at Carter Park.
This is year one. We hope you'll be part of the beginning.

The evening will be shown with the help of Beach Break Entertainment, a local organization that has been bringing family friendly outdoor movie experiences to the Coastside since 2020.
