Rounding out the experience, festivalgoers will also have the opportunity to sip and savor exceptional wine, as Half Moon Bay Winery returns as the festival’s official wine sponsor.
Half Moon Bay Winery's Monterey Sauvignon Blanc is this year's Pumpkin Festival label wine. This commemorative Pumpkin Festival wine is a Sauvignon Blanc handcrafted from Monterey grapes. Enjoy with salads, salmon, oysters, chicken, shrimp, pesto pasta, and goat and brie cheeses.
Both wines will be available by the glass at two booths hosted by the Half Moon Bay Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau.
The Pumpkin Festival-label Monterey Sauvignon Blanc will also be available by the bottle (to take home) at the Half Moon Bay Beautification Committee’s Pumpkin Festival merchandise booth.
Half Moon Bay Winery is owned by Joe Cotchett, a longtime Main Street preservationist. “In creating the Half Moon Bay Winery label, we’ve taken the opportunity to make wines that complement the coast’s signature produce and seafood,” says Joe Cotchett. “Visitors will be able to enjoy pairing coastside wine and food while strolling at the festival.”
The Winery is releasing new vintages of Fisherman’s Red, Pinot Noir, Mavericks Sauvignon Blanc, and Rosé of Dolcetto. Available in September!
